Early Work

Ijaz ul Hassan in his early work relied upon simplicity of design and expression, deriving inspiration from familiar sights and objects. In the seventies he liked to employ alluring images clipped from a film poster, a newspaper or a magazine. Later these were used to express larger social and philosophical concerns.
